OVERVIEW
You possess excellent communication skills & the ability to interact positively with a wide variety of unique individuals! Your primary focus will be to oversee bar operations, take customer orders, serving food & beverage as well as being responsible for ordering & inventory control. You will also be required to be of assistance to the kitchen where necessary, with light cooking & dishwashing duties. You are expected to be punctual & respectful to your team members, guests & the community in general. You are willing to help out & do what you can for the operation of the business & You are a person, that people want to visit!
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be responsible for the creation of a fun & positive pub experience
- Constantly cleaning for a spotless pub environment
- Develop daily specials, special events & promotion
- Entering sales from customers and ensuring balances with inventory
- Ensure team members apply brand principles & standards to improve guests experience
- Compliance with all legislative & government guidelines
- (AGCO, Health Code Occupational, Health & Safety Act, WHMIS, Human Rights Code, Employment Standards & any other standard)
- Implement & adhere to Food Safety guidelines
- Light cooking & dishwashing duties (FOOD HANDLING CERTIFICATION AN ASSET)
- Ensure consistency of presentation & quality from all departments
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 2 -3 years’ experience (THE RIGHT CANDIDATE WILL BE TRAINED) in foodservice & or hospitality industry, bartending experience SMARTSERVE
- Strong business acumen (comprehension of budgets & operating costs)
- Point of Sale or Cash Register experience an asset
- Be Motivational & can provide direction to others
- Ability to manage multiple priorities & meet strict deadlines
